OpenCms, our legacy Content Management System, was unavailable for all of Thursday 12 October 2017. Service has been restored with the help of Computing Services.

OpenCms was unable to verify that the new Single Sign-On service was legitimate after its update. This has now been fixed. Digital is still working with Computing Services to understand precisely what happened so it can be avoided in the future.

The Learning Materials Filestore (LMF) is still affected by the same issue that affected OpenCms, and we have yet to find a solution. The underlying software for the LMF is sufficiently different that the solution for OpenCms is not workable. In the meantime, you should use for sharing files at the University. Computing Services have a guide for using the service if you have not used it before.
