Talking Menopause
Despite it being a natural life process, the menopause, and how menopause at work can affect people, is rarely discussed.
The University is helping to address this by engaging with Talking Menopause, a leading provider of workshops, coaching, webinars and online programmes, helping organisations create and manage menopause-friendly workplaces.
They are delivering three online sessions for all employees. Managers, staff and all genders are welcome to join:

24th October 14:00 – 14:30 Senior Leadership Team / Board Briefing
25th October 13:30 -15:30 Talking Menopause Workshop for Managers and HR Professionals
Booking
Bookings can be made via iTrent Employee Self Service (ESS). Instructions on how to book your place using ESS.
Search for :
"Menopause" for the three bookable sessions and choose the one that is the most relevant for you.
Your manager will receive an automated notification when you book or cancel a place on a course using ESS. If you have any booking queries please email Marcia Martin adsmam@bath.ac.uk.
Workplace support and guidance
Our University guides for supporting menopause in the workplace have been developed to provide staff and managers with advice and an enhanced understanding of navigating the menopause at work.
· Our University Menopause Guidance for Managers, comments on putting in place appropriate support with an agreement on adjustments.
· Also, guidance for employees is available on seeking and receiving the right support to manage menopausal symptoms at work.
There is also the regular Menopause Matters sessions, available to all staff, irrespective of age or gender. These are a safe, respectful and confidential space to discuss the menopause.
