Over the last year the University has seen a decrease in the demand for our UniDeskLR service. UniDeskLR allows users to run jobs of twenty-four hours plus in MatLab and Ansys, which is currently not supported in standard UniApps and UniDesk.
From Thursday 27 August, the UniDeskLR service will be withdrawn due to an increase in costs and decrease in demand for the service. Instead, users will be able to use the HPC service, though jobs may have to wait in a queue to be completed.
