It is really important that the information that we hold on you in our iTrent information system is accurate and up-to-date. If it is not, we may miss communicating important information to you or not be able to properly reflect the diversity of our staff. We would be really grateful if you could log in to Employee Self-Service (ESS) and check that your information is accurate and up to date. 

Please make any amendments directly in ESS.  In particular we would like to direct you to the following screens for checking and/or completion where there is missing data, though we would suggest checking all areas while you are logged in:-

  • My information:
    • Contact information e.g. current home address
    • Sensitive information e.g. self-certified disabled
    • Emergency Contacts - Friends & Family
  • Job details:
    • HESA details e.g disability

If you are a visa holder, you have a responsibility under the requirements of your visa and contract of employment to report any changes that may affect your immigration status to the University directly and without delay, this includes any changes to your contact details.  As an employer and sponsor licence holder we also have a duty to report to UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) any change in worker circumstances within set timeframes.  Please read our guidance on your Points-Based Immigration System responsibilities for further information.  If you are unsure about any aspect of the visa reporting process, please contact hr-visas@bath.ac.uk.
