Alumni Fund postgraduate travel bursaries
A bursary scheme to help postgraduate research students without conference support pay for fees, training, travel and other costs.
If you are a postgraduate research student without conference support, you can apply for a bursary of up to £250 to cover the costs of travel, registration, accommodation and subsistence.
You can use the bursary to attend and present at a major national or international conference that is relevant to your research project.
You can apply for the bursary to help pay for workshops to learn new skills or techniques important to the development of your academic research project. These can include recognised training workshops in media communication, schools networking, business and society, like those run by the Royal Society.
Applications for other training activities like visits to another research group will be considered on their merits.
