You don't need to be good at sport to study a sports degree. You can explore topics like coaching, management, leisure and physical activity, and how the body works.

Bath is known for sporting excellence. Our sport, exercise and health courses are consistently highly ranked in major UK and worldwide independent league tables.
Fantastic sport, teaching and research facilities
Our £35 million Sports Training Village is the centre of sports on campus.
It's home to world-class facilities, including an Olympic-sized swimming pool, for more than 50 sports. It also contains fitness, coaching, physio and sports science facilities.
Many of these facilities are often used by leading sports teams from across the UK, as well as athletes training to compete in events like the Olympic Games.
In addition, the Department for Health has five dedicated research laboratories. We have a close connection between research and teaching theoretical knowledge. This ensures that what we teach you is directly related to practical application.

Bath is the 2nd safest university town or city in England and Wales (The Complete University Guide (2023)) and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, thanks to its Roman heritage and Georgian architecture.
