Come to an Undergraduate Open Day

Experience the University at an Undergraduate Open Day and find out what it’s like to live and study here.

Upcoming Open Days

Our Open Days will give you a taste for what it would be like to be a student here. You can explore our campus, speak to current students and find out about our courses.

Open Days COVID-19 update

After careful consideration, the University has decided that our Open Days on 19 and 20 June this year cannot proceed as planned.

All the decisions we have made in response to the COVID-19 pandemic have been informed by our duty of care to our students, our staff, our visitors and our wider responsibilities to our community.

As well as two Open Days in September, we are committed to ensuring there will be other opportunities for you to discover what the University has to offer, to explore the campus either virtually or, as circumstances permit, first-hand, and meet up with our student community and staff. We will provide information on all these opportunities as soon as possible.

Next Open Day dates

We are now planning to hold Open Days on:

  • Friday 11 September 2020 and,

  • Saturday 12 September 2020

It is possible that these dates may change in light of government advice.

Get to know the University

Get a feel for what it's like to study and live in Bath.

Tour our campus and accommodation; meet our staff and students; ask anything and everything you want to know.

Check out the accommodation

Visit our campus and city centre accommodation to see where you could be living in your first year.

Our students can show you around and answer your questions about the facilities, the costs, and what it’s like to live there.

Visit the Students’ Union

The Students' Union building is the social hub on campus. Its lively bar and club are great places to meet with friends.

During your visit, you can chat with students from societies and get an idea of the interesting things you can get involved in.

As well as the fun stuff, the Students' Union (SU) offers a great source of advice and support. You can meet SU staff and find out about how they help students make the most of their time here.

Take a tour of the Library

At the centre of campus, the Library is one of the most important facilities you'll use during your studies.

You can drop into the Library and join one of the hourly guided tours or just walk around in your own time.

Explore our sports facilities

Whatever your sporting ability, you can use our Sports Training Village (STV) when you study here.

You can take a guided tour of the STV and see the facilities, like the Olympic Legacy swimming pool, the fully-equipped gym and the indoor and outdoor courts and pitches.

Talk with students and staff

Throughout the day, you'll have many opportunities to meet current students. They're the best people to give you an idea of what studying and living here is really like.

You can also meet academic, admissions and support staff at the Information Fair. They'll be happy to answer any questions you have about our courses, accommodation and the support we offer. You'll also find information on:

  • arts
  • careers
  • fees and funding
  • placements
  • skills
  • sport
  • Student's Union sports, societies and support
  • studying abroad
