Cosy Wednesdays from the University of Bath
Older residents in Bath can join us in Oldfield Park for a free lunch and hot drinks, and optional activities every Wednesday until 8 February 2023.
About the scheme
The University of Bath is inviting local people to join staff and student volunteers for friendly and fun activities at its Dartmouth Avenue cabin in Oldfield Park.
We'll be welcoming people to enjoy a free soup lunch and an afternoon of optional activities, including music, craft, games and more in the cosy cabin area each Wednesday afternoon from 12.30pm - 4.30pm. The programme will run from 9 November 2022 - 8 February 2023.
The Students’ Union will help to run activities, drawing on volunteers from its many student societies and clubs, to invite them to share their hobbies and skills with local people. Activities include:
- Board games
- Music performances
- Craft workshops
- Reading
Book your place by contacting Joshua on 01225 384 966 or emailing cosy@bath.ac.uk.
