Do you have a spinal cord injury? Get involved in our patient and public involvement group

We are setting up a patient and public involvement group to help guide research studies around the topic of exercise for people with a spinal cord injury.

Exercise is a key component to long-term health for all humans, however the exercise-related research in spinal cord injuries (SCI) lags far behind that of non-disabled populations.

We are designing exercise-related research studies in SCI, and are seeking feedback and opinions from members of the public.

We are looking for participants who:

  • are over 18 years of age
  • live or work in Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, or Wiltshire
  • sustained a spinal cord injury more than a year ago

We are accepting participants until 31 December 2018.

What's involved

Over the next year, there will be three sessions lasting two hours each, where we would like your input on our exercise-related SCI research. We want to hear your opinions, good, bad, or indifferent!

What you'll get

We will cover your travel expenses, and there will be tea and coffee available at every session. We will also provide a £20 voucher to thank you for your time.
