Easter at the University of Bath

Useful information if you’re a student staying in Bath over Easter break.

Easter activities

The University will be continuing to run some of its wellbeing activities over the Easter vacation including gardening and dog walking. Visit the Be Well Events page for more information and to book on.

There are also a number of other events taking place, either virtually or in and around the Bath and Bristol area including egg hunts and spring markets. Take a look at Visit Bath's What's On Guide and Visit Bristol's What's On Guide to see what's happening this Easter.

Food outlets opening times

Check the opening times for all the food and drink outlets and shops on campus; this page is updated each week.

Support

Our Security Team will operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the period as normal.

Wellbeing Support will be available 9am-5pm throughout the vacation period. You can contact wellbeingservice@bath.ac.uk.

Building access

Please carry your library card with you over the Easter weekend. Card-activated doors that usually allow free access during office hours will only be accessible using your library card from Friday 15 April to Tuesday 19 April 2022. The doors will revert to the usual timed access when the University reopens on Wednesday 20 April 2022.

Sports Pass

The Team Bath Sports Pass can be used during the Easter Break; if you haven’t already activated your free sports pass then please do so by visiting STV reception. You can book courts to play sport with friends or Swim in the SwimFit lanes. The Sports Training Village has reduced holiday opening hours.

The Edge

Practice rooms will be available over the Easter Break but may have reduced hours. Visit The Edge booking pages for more details and to book a time slot.

Transport

Transport will run over the vacation period, but some services may be reduced. Be sure to check the First bus website or app for details or check prior to travel for other transport options.
