EPSRC DTP Studentships
The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) provides funding for science and engineering students.
The EPSRC Doctoral Training Partnership provides flexible awards to fund research into chemistry, engineering, information and communications technologies, materials, mathematical sciences and physics.
Funding lasts for three and a half years, including:
- Home/EU tuition fees
- training support fee: £1,000 per annum
- maintenance stipend £14,777 per annum (2018/19 rate)
To be eligible for a full award (fees and stipend) from a Research Council, a UK or EU student must have no restrictions on how long they can stay in the UK and have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least 3 years prior to the start of the studentship. EU citizens may be eligible to receive tuition fees award only.
