Funding for postgraduate research students
If you are a new applicant to a postgraduate research programme, you may be eligible to apply for funding from your Faculty or School. This can contribute towards your tuition fees and living expenses, and often provides a training support grant.

Students from the US
If you are a US citizen or national who wants to study at the University of Bath, you may be eligible to apply for a US student loan to help you fund your studies.
Students from Canada
If you are a Canadian citizen or national who wants to study at the University of Bath, you may be eligible to apply for a Canadian student loan to help you fund your studies.
Scholarships are available to postgraduate Canadian students on multi-year postgraduate courses. One year masters courses are not eligible.
Students from China

If you are a Chinese citizen who wants to study at the University of Bath, you may be eligible to apply for a scholarship to help you fund your studies.
The Ko PhD Scholarships
A scholarship programme for Chinese students studying for a PhD in the Faculty of Science or the Faculty of Engineering and Design.
Scholarships for Paraguayan Postgraduate Researchers
If you are a student from Paraguay who wants to undertake doctoral study at the University of Bath, you may be eligible to apply for a scholarship to help you fund your studies.
Alternative funding
You can look for funding from sources other than those offered by the University. Trusts and charities can make awards for fees, maintenance or research costs to any student, regardless of subject or nationality.

Postgraduate Doctoral Student Loans
If you are a doctoral student with Home (UK) and European Union (EU) fee status starting University in 2018/19, you may be eligible to apply for a loan for your studies.
