This course will help you develop the English skills you need to apply for a job and will give you confidence with your English language in the workplace.

Develop your fluency and confidence in English

This 10-week course will help you with the English language skills and confidence you need to get a job.

You will learn how to analyse job advertisements, write a good CV and effective cover letters.

There will be opportunities to develop your answers to typical graduate job interview questions and practise answering them in a formal interview setting.

This course will help you improve your the English language skills that you need to be effective in the workplace.

You will improve your English email, networking and spoken communication skills required in an employment situation.

You will practise participating in English in meetings, raise your awareness of the language needed to communicate your decisions and discuss priorities.

The course is for all undergraduate and postgraduate students who use English as a second language.

Erasumus+, exchange and visiting students can get 3 credits by completing one of these courses.

The course will run on:

  • Wednesdays, 4.15 pm-5.45 pm
  • Wednesdays, 6.15 pm-7.45 pm
