MA Interpreting and Translating scholarship

If you're looking to study the MA Interpreting and Translating European or Russian course, then you can apply for funding to support you.

Funding for prospective students

Our Department of Politics, Languages & International Studies has funding to support new applicants.

Scholarship availability

You can apply for this funding if you have received an offer for one of our MA Interpreting and Translating European or Russian courses. This funding is not available to those applying for the MA Interpreting and Translating Chinese course.

To apply, you must have a high academic achievement; the equivalent of a 1st Honours degree or, exceptionally, a high 2:1 degree. We will also consider your performance at interview when making a decision for funding.

This scholarship covers the full fees for home/EU students for the 2018-19 academic year.

You must submit no more than 500 words in a Word Document detailing why you think you should be considered. You should base this on previous academic achievements and/or relevant experience.

Email your content to the Course Director of Studies, Dr Nina Parish after you have received an offer to study.
