Scholarship availability
You can apply for this funding if you have received an offer for one of our MA Interpreting and Translating European or Russian language courses.
The funding is not available to those applying for the MA Interpreting and Translating Chinese course.
To apply, you must have a high academic achievement; the equivalent of a 1st Honours degree or, exceptionally, a high 2:1 degree. We will also consider your performance at interview when making a decision for funding.
Funding
The value of the scholarship covers the 2019/20 full fee home/EU fee of £9,500.
Depending on the number of suitable applications, the total scholarship amount may be divided between multiple applicants.
Apply
You must submit no more than 500 words in a Word Document detailing why you think you should be considered. You should base this on previous academic achievements and/or relevant experience.
Email your content to the Director of Studies, Steven Wonnacott after you have received an offer to study.
The deadline for scholarship submissions is 17:00 (BST) on 30 August 2019.
