Hi, my name is Aaron and I am a first year student here at the University of Bath studying Management. I am from India originally but I have lived in Dubai all my life.

I was extremely nervous about going to University abroad but once I got here, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and warm nature of everyone here.

I hope to answer any question you may have about life as an international student at Bath and you can ask me anything about being a student, from nightlife to lectures and any subsequent question you might have.

Hi! I am Sevinc, an international student ambassador from Turkey studying MEng Mechanical Engineering with Manufacturing and Management

Before I chose Bath I had done lots of research and after I visited the University I felt Bath would be the best fit for me. The courses here are more hands-on and there is always a chance to apply what you are learning in the lectures by doing coursework or projects.

The city is just perfect for students. There are lots of small cafes, restaurants, cocktail bars and clubs, you will find whatever you need here! And if you want more attractions, London is just an hour and half away from here.

If you have any questions about the University, life in the city or studying here in Bath as an international student then feel free to ask me.

Harsh

Harsh is from India and is studying Business Administration.

Hi! I’m Harsh, an international student from India currently studying Business Administration at the University of Bath.

After much thought and research, I felt that Bath would be the perfect fit for me because not only does it have one of the best Management courses in the UK, but it is also really well-connected and is only an hour and a half away from London. The primary reason for me choosing Bath was the extremely high student satisfaction levels and its strong links with employers all across the world. This enables it to offer some of the best placements, which in my opinion hone our skills to become future leaders.

If you have any questions about what it is like to be an international student here, or studying Business Administration then please ask me.

Hi everyone! My name is Juon Keat (aka JK), and I’m currently a 3rd year student studying Mechanical Engineering at Bath.

I have been living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia since I was young. What makes Bath a great place to stay in is it offers a lot by combining modern culture within a historically rich city. As for the university itself, I find it very convenient as literally everything I need is within walking distance.

If you have any questions about the University or university life, then feel free to ask me!

Hi, my name is Lily. I am from north-east China (Liao Ning province) and I study Accounting and Finance at the University of Bath.

I chose Bath because of its high ranking and I came to love both the town and the university. My favourite thing about Bath is that it gives me a sense of peacefulness, which helps me focus better on my studying, while providing me with entertainment that I never experienced before which makes studying here a great pleasure.

Hello my name is Godfrey and I am an international student from Hong Kong. I am currently in year 2 studying Civil Engineering.

I chose to study in Bath because of the beauty of the city and the quality of the University. The city of Bath is unique and is different from any other city across the country. The University also has a wide range of facilities at hand and there is a friendly and warm feeling on campus, giving a feeling of home to all students. There is a real sense of community.

Nicolette

Hi I'm Nicolette, a 4th year studying Sociology and Social Policy.

In 2015, I made the big (and exciting!) move from the tiny red dot that is Singapore, to pursue higher education at the University of Bath. Today, this is still one of the BEST decisions I’ve made! I’ve met some of the loveliest people who I can luckily call life-long friends, had the opportunity to learn from incredibly inspiring lecturers, developed new skills and hobbies, and can without a doubt call this beautiful city my second home.

I’m more than happy to answer any questions you might have so please do get in touch.

Mick

Mick is from Thailand and is studying Biochemistry with Professional Placement.

Mick smiles directly at the camera against a pale turquoise backdrop

Hi, my name is Mick. I'm studying final year Professional Placement at University of Bath. I'm from Thailand and I have been in the UK for 5 years.

I started my educational journey in the UK as an International Foundation Year student at Bath college and then progressed to the University of Bath. The main reasons I chose Bath were its high ranking for Biological Science and its reputation for placement years.

I’m really enjoying my degree and my time in Bath. Studying here has allowed me to experience different cultures and meet people from around the world.
