Pathways to Climate Resilience

IMI is hosting a series of online events exploring the science of climate change and ways of building stronger community resilience.

Our changing climate

ONLINE event series investigating pressing climate challenges and debating ways of moving towards a positive climate future.

Climate change is the defining challenge of our time, and it will profoundly impact all of us.

Over the coming months, the IMI will investigate and address this enormous challenge with a series of events focused on exploring the science of climate change and ways of building stronger community resilience.

Gathering prominent climate scientists, industry representatives, local community groups and academic colleagues from all disciplines, we will raise awareness, investigate climate models and develop proposals for the future.

Innovative mathematical approaches are at the heart of how we seek to understand these challenges and find solutions to overcome them. We look much broader, though, with our interdisciplinary approach to everything we do. The IMI has a multitude of business and public sector collaborations and takes part in numerous university-wide research partnerships.
