Space from COVID-19

Space from COVID-19 is a new programme on our online self-help platform, Silvercloud, specifically to help with stress, worry & other emotions during this time.

Silvercloud is self-guided with no need for staff support and is available to all current students who can create a log-in and access topic modules to complete in their own time.

It is easy to use and includes quizzes, videos and other interactive tools and activities. It can be accessed anywhere on any computer, tablet or mobile phone.

Space from COVID-19 has been produced specifically to help you with worries and emotions around the challenging situation with the coronavirus. There are five modules:

  • challenging times
  • sleep difficulties
  • relaxation
  • mindfulness
  • grief and loss

You can complete these in your own time and at your own pace. They include exercises, suggested coping strategies and practical tips as well as guidance on relaxation and mindfulness practices.

This is an unsupported module on Silvercloud which means that no one will be monitoring any response you may give. If you would like to discuss using it with an adviser or need further help or just want to talk to someone, contact our Wellbeing Service.
