As one of the safest cities in the UK, Bath is easy to explore and there are plenty of things for you to see and do.
We will assign an exchange co-ordinator in your department to support you. You will meet your co-ordinator during the induction.
The co-ordinator is responsible for:
- showing you how to enrol on your chosen units and get your unit timetable
- your academic mentoring and general welfare during your time at Bath
If you are an Erasmus+ student, your learning agreement will be signed by your exchange co-ordinator.
As well as English language units for native and non-native speakers, our popular British Studies courses are offered exclusively to Erasmus+, exchange and visiting students.
You can improve your English language skills and learn about British history, society, film and literature in the home of Jane Austen.
If you are studying within the European Union (EU) and your institution has an Erasmus+ agreement with us, you can be one of the 150 Erasmus+ students who come to study at Bath every year.
Exchange students from outside the EU
If you are studying outside the EU and your institution has an exchange agreement with us, you can join students from 15 countries around the world at Bath.
Wherever in the world you are studying, you can apply to come to Bath as a fee-paying student. We do not need to have an exchange agreement with your home institution.
We offer a limited number of Erasmus+, exchange and visiting students a place in University accommodation.
