Take part in our research examining patterns of physical activity in university students

This study will be looking at university students' daily step counts over the course of a month.

Rates of obesity and associated morbidity and mortality continue to rise at an alarming pace, and there is a critical need for effective prevention and early intervention strategies. The time when someone transitions to adulthood is a crucial life phase for the study of obesity.

This project is looking at patterns of physical activity in university students.

We are looking for volunteers who:

  • are aged between 18 and 24 years
  • are studying at the University of Bath
  • speak English fluently
  • don't currently have or have had a diagnosed eating disorder like anorexia nervosa

We are accepting participants until 31 December 2018.

What's involved

You will start by completing a two-minute online questionnaire. You will then need to log your step count online each day for 28 days.
