Take part in our research on the relationship between caffeine, physical activity and mood

We are looking for adult volunteers to participate in our study on the effects of caffeine and activity levels on mood throughout the day.

Caffeine and physical activity could be important in helping us to manage our mood; however there is little research which has looked at the relationship between caffeine, activity and mood. This study aims to ascertain whether caffeine and activity could potentially be very cost-effective, useful ways of managing mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, alongside more traditional methods such as medication and psychological therapies.

Take part

We are looking for adults both with and without personal experience of depression or bipolar disorder. You will have to complete a telephone screening phone call to check whether you’re eligible to take part.

What you'll get

As a thank you for taking part you will be entered into a prize draw to win one of three £20 Amazon vouchers.

What's involved

The study consists of two parts. You may take part in either or both.
