Take part in our Study Centres

If you're enrolled on a postgraduate distance-learning course, then you can register to complete your units through one of our Study Centres around the world.

Complete your studies around the world

Our Study Centres are a way of undertaking part-time study for the MA Education and Postgraduate Certificate in International Education (PGCiE) courses.

Each Study Centre is led online by a University of Bath lecturer. You will join local and international educators to share experiences and learn together.

Locations

The Study Centres are based in a number of host schools across the world, including:

We are continually updating our range of Study Centres so the venues we choose and units we offer remain varied.

We offer units according to student demand. We tend to offer core units for named MA Education pathways or units which can count towards the International Baccalaureate Educator Certificates.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The Department of Education at the University of Bath offers students a number of ways of working towards the qualifications of MA Education and PGCiE. Normally this would include the possibility of studying by distance learning (individual study online), attending our Summer School (June/July in Bath) and/or participating in one of our successful Study Centres around the world.

Prior to COVID-19 the Study Centre mode was based on units taught by a visiting University of Bath tutor; currently virtual Study Centres enable local and international educators to share their experiences and learn together online, working with other teachers and educators in an intensive learning environment with the guidance and support of an experienced University of Bath tutor.

Summer School

Our Summer School usually takes place in June and July.

You can complete units at a Summer School if you are a new or current student studying:
