Discover Bath Residential summer schools

If you're in Year 12, you could join one of our Discover Bath Residential summer schools to find out what it's like to be an undergraduate student.

Our summer schools give you the chance to experience lectures, seminars and workshops to start learning the study skills you need for university1.

You'll get to stay at the University, use our facilities and resources and join social events. You'll also be able to talk to current students and staff, including Admissions Tutors who'll give you advice about writing your personal statement.

Weekly Campus Tours

Come on a tour of our Claverton Down campus and find out what makes the University so special.

If you're interested in seeing the campus, you can join our Student Ambassadors for a guided tour.

Tours start at 2pm on most Wednesdays and Fridays, and will take place throughout the year.

If you already have an offer to study here, we'll invite you to an Applicant Visit Day. This includes a tour of the campus so you don't need to book a separate tour.

Undergraduate Open Days

An Open Day is the best way to explore the campus and experience undergraduate life before starting your studies.

We hold Undergraduate Open Days in June and September each year.

Come and meet students and staff and ask any questions you have about your course, the accommodation and the support we give our students.

You can also look around the campus and visit facilities, including the students' union building, the Library and the Sports Training Village.

Register your interest in our Open Days to get up-to-date information and find out when bookings open.

Video tour

Take a tour of the main facilities on campus, including the students' union building, the Library and the Sports Training Village.

Bitesize Bath

If you can't make one of our main Open Days, our Bitesize Bath events are a great opportunity to visit us.

Our next Bitesize Bath events will take place in October and November 2020.

School and college visits

If you'd like your whole class to find out more about being a student at Bath, you can ask your school or college to organise a visit to our campus.

Self-guided tours

Our campus is open to all, so you can come and look around whenever you like.

If you want to come to the University in your own time, we'd recommend you visit during term-time. You'll be able to find out what it's like when all the students are here and get a real taste for life at Bath.

During the week, you can look inside may of the buildings and rooms if they're not in use. You can also visit the West Accommodation Centre for information about accommodation.

It's best to plan your visit at least a week in advance so you can arrange to:

  • talk to someone about a specific course
  • visit study facilities, such as laboratories

If you have a disability or specific learning difficulty, you can arrange an individual visit

UCAS exhibitions

We regularly visit UCAS exhibitions around the UK, so if you can’t make it to Bath, you can still meet us in person at a free event near you.
