Requisites:
Aims: This unit aims to expose students to the perspectives related to the dynamics of the interaction between sport, social science and people. It is also designed to inspire creativity and innovation in the coaching process.
Learning Outcomes:
To draw from the broad spectrum of social psychology research to critically examine coaching education as a professional practice.

Develop and apply the skills needed for academic study and enquiry (F/T)
Synthesise information from a number of sources in order to gain a coherent understanding of theory and practice (F/T)

Content:
This unit will teach the applications of sport and social science research to the management of teams/groups. It will facilitate the application of various skills (e.g. interpersonal , communication, leadership and technical analysis) to aid both individual and group/team performance.
