To introduce the natural science student to principles of practical pharmacology.

Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the unit the student should be able to:
1. Perform simple pharmacological in vitro experiments
2. Interpret dose-response data
3. produce high quality practical reports
4. work safely in a pharmacology laboratory.

Content:
Pharmacology laboratory safety standards. Introduction to pharmacology practicals.
