Further information on descriptions Description: Aims:
This unit aims to develop a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of entrepreneurship theory and practice. This course will allow students to develop the skill set necessary to exploit business opportunities and develop a new venture.

Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the unit, students will be able to:
* Demonstrate a conceptual understanding of entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial process
* Identify the sources of entrepreneurial opportunity
* Demonstrate a practical understanding of how to assess the feasibility of a new venture and develop an identified opportunity into a viable business proposition.
* Appreciate the role of entrepreneurship and the challenges entrepreneurs encounter in developing a new venture in presence of uncertainty
* Evaluate the potential of new venture growth strategies.
