Description: | Aims: * To enhance the production of authentic and accurate written and spoken French; * To consolidate student's knowledge of complex grammatical structures; * To apply the acquired skills to the production of a variety of French texts; * To build on the communication skills acquired in YEAR 1; * To improve oral proficiency and aural comprehension. Learning Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to: * Manipulate a broad range of lexis, grammatical structures and syntax; * Apply accurate and advanced written and spoken communicative skills; * Demonstrate sound awareness of style and linguistic register; * Show cultural awareness. Content: Written language: * Selected grammar points, essay writing techniques, summary and creative writing, CV and cover letters.
