Synopsis: This unit provides knowledge and training in a range of professional skills and research techniques. The knowledge and skills gained throughout the programme will inform your curriculum to demonstrate the communication, planning, critical and professional evaluation skills needed to perform at a postgraduate professional level. Also, to exhibit the knowledge, metacognitive awareness and skill-set, which enables teamwork. You will be able to conduct theoretical or practical research.
Intended Learning Outcomes: Demonstrate appropriate knowledge, metacognitive awareness and skills set to integrate into a professional team within the construction sector.

Formulate and investigate a research question of theoretical or practical relevance to your programme of study.

Propose a path to find a solution to the identified problem independently and the ability to critically interpret the results obtained.
