Description: Aims:
Corporate responsibilities in regards of a host of social and environmental issues are increasingly high-profile, and give rise to potentially profound implications for corporate reputation, organisational legitimacy and long term competitive advantage. The aims of this course are:
* To introduce students to the principles of corporate responsibilities, sustainability and ethical judgements of business conduct;
* To consider and evaluate the business case for responsible business strategy;
* To examine how governance strategies for responsible business strategies are developed and implemented;
* To examine methods for the measurement of performance on corporate responsibilities;
* To examine strategies for firms' reporting on corporate responsibilities.

Learning Outcomes:
On completion of this module students will be able to:
* Understand the managerial importance of corporate responsibilities;
* Analyse and evaluate the responsible business strategies currently pursued by firms;
* Better understand and navigate the challenges of developing and implementing responsible business strategy;
* Better understand and navigate the measurement and reporting challenges associated with responsible business strategy.
