You will perform a risk assessment of apparatus and hazardous substances required in the chemical and biochemical engineering industries. This will allow you to enhance your abilities to interpret and present technical information. You will work in teams to engage in open-ended research and apply cultural and ethical considerations to real-life engineering problems.

Learning Outcomes: After successfully completing this unit, you will be able to:
* Plan and execute experimental activities, and report on resulting findings (A3.2a) [CLO: T3, T5]
* Interpret and analyse experimental data using judgement from literature and other sources. (A3.2a, A3.2b) [CLO: I2]
* Plan, manage and organise team activities to achieve session outcomes (A4.2e, A5.2c, A5.2d, A5.2f) [CLO: T6]
