Description: Aims:
To provide industry-relevant professional development through comprehensive and well-rounded knowledge and experience of design, producing graduates who can communicate and work with different stakeholders, such as clients, the public and other industry professionals.

Learning Outcomes:
After successfully completing this unit the student will be able to:
* Synthesize the technical knowledge from the taught stage of the programme into design strategies that advance technology.
* Integrate the above to pursue design and engineering processes that are constrained by real-world resources and customer demands.
* Assess how their dissertation proposal could be developed into a viable research consultancy project.
* Assess the viability and true impact of their proposed industry relevant deliverables.
