Requisites:
Aims: This unit will teach you computerised methods of storing data and presenting graphical summaries. Students will gain an understanding of database reports and how they are used to present management information in business contexts.

Learning Outcomes:
* Design a database that will best fit the needs of a business in terms of both flexibility and efficiency [CILO:K1, K5]
* Use optimised queries to process data and derive managerial insights [CILO:I1]
* Visualise processed data in multiple dimensions to maximise its business value [CILO:I1]
* Use SQL and Business Intelligence software [CILO:P2]
* Present multi-dimensional data in tabular and graphical formats [CILO:P5].
