By the end of this unit students will be able to:
* Identify and seize opportunities to apply knowledge, skills and understanding developed during their academic studies to work carried out within their placement organisation. * Evaluate and reflect on their contribution to the organisation during the placement. * Critique the development of their personal and employability skills during the placement, proposing and justifying areas where these skills require further development. * Discuss opportunities to apply learning from their placement to the remainder of their academic studies, sharing their perspectives with peers. |
Aims: | To experience the industrial environment first-hand, employed during the year with one of our partner companies. Students will have the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge that they have acquired during the course in a realistic context. |
