The promoter of this competition (Be Well Together) is The University of Bath, and it is to be managed by the University’s Student Services team whose registered address is 4West, University of Bath, Claverton Down, BA2 7AY, Somerset, United Kingdom.
The competition prize consists of: First prize, one meal voucher, up to the value of £120. The competition prize is valid until 31 June 2019. The Winner will be given a limited choice of venues within the Bath area. Runner up prize, a free group exercise class for the winner and two friends at the Sports Training Village valid until 31 May 2019.
Entrants to the Competition must be aged 18 or over. Only currently registered University of Bath students may enter.
Paid employees of the University of Bath, their families, agencies or any persons directly or indirectly connected with the Competition are not eligible to enter the Competition.
The Competition may only be entered online on the Student Services Instagram account but is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram.
The Competition is free to enter, no purchase or payment is required.
The Competition will be open for entry from 12.01am on 18 March 2019 to 11.59pm on 31 March 2019. (Inclusive)
To enter the competition:
- you must follow, and tag @bathstuservices in your post
- you must use the hashtag #bewelltogether
- your post should fit the theme Be Well Together
- you must have the express consent of any other people shown in the photo or video to include their image(s) before posting
- your post must be of original content that you have the rights to use. Student Services will accept no responsibility for action taken against entries containing content that infringes privacy or copyright.
The University accepts no responsibility for entries not being successfully uploaded due to any technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure or satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
By entering the competition you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions and confirm that you are aged 18 or over.
By entering the competition you accept that the University may use your post (or any part of it) in its future promotional material and this may involve publishing it on the World Wide Web or elsewhere.
The Winner will be selected by a panel of staff on the 1 April 2019 based on how well they (in their sole discretion) feel the entry has met the theme “Be Well together” and met the above criteria. Their decision is final and cannot be challenged.
The Winner will be contacted by 15 April by direct message. If the winner does not respond within 14 calendar days of such notification, or otherwise does not accept the prize, they will forfeit all rights to receive the prize and the University may select another Winner in accordance with the process described above.
The winner who has responded to the notification of his/her win and accepted her/his prize will be provided with details as to how to claim his/her prize. The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is offered. The prize is valid for a period of three months from acceptance of the prize only and is subject to availability and it subject to any other terms and conditions that may be imposed by or apply to the chosen venue.
You agree, if you win that the University of Bath may use your name and image in promotional materials; and if required, to take part in all reasonable publicity relating to the Competition.
Final responsibility for determining the operation of the draw, including eligibility and the identity of the Winner, rests with the University and shall be managed by Student Services. Student Services decision regarding any aspect of a draw is final and binding on all entrants and no correspondence will be entered after it.
Students who do not comply in full with these terms and conditions may be disqualified at the discretion of Student Services. Student Services reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
By entering the competition you agree that your personal information (including use of your photo(s), name and email address) may be held and used by Student Services for the purposes of the Competition.
The University reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
