BSc Politics with Economics/International relations Welcome Week timetable

During Welcome Week 2023 you must attend department and central Welcome Week events which will help you settle into University life.


Timetable

Arrivals Weekend is from Friday 22 September to Sunday 24 September 2023.

Welcome Week runs from Monday 25 September to Friday 29 September 2023.

You must attend a University Life session taking place over arrivals weekend. Find your University Life time slot. It’s important that you attend this.

10.30am 11.15am East Building 1.1 Director of Studies Welcome and key information-giving session 1
11.15am 11.30am East Building 1.1 Peer Assisted Learning Leaders introduce PAL and Peer Mentoring, followed by campus trail and refreshments.
11.30am 12.45pm Trail/Lime Tree Campus trail in groups with mentors. £5 voucher to spend in Lime Tree

2.15pm 3.05pm The Parade The SU Sports Day: Use this free time to meet the sports clubs and teams and find out how to join. This is an optional activity.

2.15pm 3.05pm The Parade The SU Groups Day: Find out about all of the Student groups on offer and how to get involved. This is an optional activity

Friday 29 September

Start Finish Location Description
11.15am 12.05pm Online event, Zoom Be the Change: Understand the community of the University of Bath, and how you can be an active bystander and promote equality.
1.15pm 2.05pm Founders Hall The SU Freshers Fair: Use this free time to explore what's on offer at the University and in Bath and pick up some freebies. This is an optional activity.
2.15pm 3.05pm Chancellors' Building 3.1 Politics with Economics students only - Information session with Dr Matteo de Tina on Year 1 Economics module.

The Students' Union also runs optional Freshers' Week activities you might be interested in.
