Dr Ola Oyekan becomes Africa R&D Specialist
Dr Ola Oyekan (nee Olaosebikan) former Reinsurance Group of America (RGA) doctoral scholar has taken up the position of Africa R&D Specialist with RGA. Ola will be part of a team leading RGA's expansion plans in sub-Saharan Africa, particularly in the area of micro-insurance. Ola is working from RGA's Cape Town office in South Africa. We all wish Ola the best of luck in her commercial career.
Global firm strengthens its relationship with Bath
Grant Thornton is strengthening its relationship with the University by supporting a new prize fellowship in the School of Management’s Centre in Strategic Risk, creating the first corporate named academic position in the School. Dr Elena Veprauskaite has joined the Centre as the Grant Thornton Research Fellow in Strategic Risk Management and will receive funding of £50,000. Read more
