Our English language requirements
If you apply to study at the University, you need to meet the minimum English language requirements for your course. To make it easier for you to check the qualification level you need, we group our courses in categories A, B, C and D.
Use this page to check which UK-based qualifications you need to apply for Category A courses. If you studied for a qualification based outside the UK, see the Category A English language requirements for international qualifications.

Pre-sessional English courses
If you need to improve your English language skills before starting your studies, you may be able to take a pre-sessional course to reach the required level.
