*Through special arrangement, decided strictly on a case-by-case basis, the Maths progression grades are permitted to be higher in certain target degrees to reflect either that 1) co-teaching is provided by the Department of Mathematical Sciences (hence similar grade criteria should apply), or that 2) the programme contains an exceptional degree of advanced mathematical content, or that 3) the direct admissions criteria for the degree has an essential Maths element. This special arrangement pertains solely to the Maths subject.
