3.15pm 4.05pm Chancellor's Building 1.12 Introduction to the placement programme by Louise Oliver, Faculty Placements Manager. Only for students interested in the version of the programme with a placement.

Wednesday 29 September

10.15am 4.00pm 4 West 1.7 Tutoring training part 1 with Dr Antal Jarai. Only for students who wish to give tutorials for UG units in Semester 1. Please discuss with Director of Studies before attending.
4.15pm 5.05pm Zoom Get involved in climate action at this interactive session. Prepare for the session (10 minutes) using the climate literacy course

Thursday 30 September

Friday 1 October

10.15am 11.05am MS Teams Be the Change: explores harassment from accessing support to reporting incidents
11.15am 3.05pm 4 West 1.2 Induction workshop with MSc unit convenors, mathematical modelling with Python. Please bring your laptop.

As well as these compulsory events, you can also get involved in optional activities run by The SU.

If you have any problems with IT hardware and software, contact our IT helpdesk. You can also purchase equipment from them.

We have set up a Microsoft Team for your course. You can use this to ask questions and start to get to know the people on your course. You will be able to access this from the end of August.
