The 2021/22 Supplementary exam period will run from Monday 15 to Friday 26 August 2022.
The full exam schedule is available on the University's wiki pages.
Please note, due to a security vulnerability the University's Wiki is now accessible only when connected to the VPN service. Please see our guide on setting up and connecting to the VPN.
Inspera (online) exams
Most exams will be set using the remote (i.e., online) exams platform, Inspera. Inspera exams will be one of three types: Fixed-time, Flexible-start or Open-24. The majority of Inspera exams are Fixed-time exams. Please see the Student Guide to Exams for further details on what to expect from each type of exam.
On campus (in-person) exams
There will be a small number of in-person, invigilated exams held on campus. All in-person exams are paper-based, or an oral exam may be set for language units. Guidance on how to prepare for and sit an in-person, paper exam is available from the Student Guide to Exams.
If you are sitting an in-person exam, you will need to separately find your room and seat number on SAMIS by scrolling to 'Exam Information' and clicking on 'Exam Timetable'.
If you have specific queries relating to an in-person exam, please contact your Director of Studies.
In advance of the exam period, the Exams and assessments hub includes information on using Inspera, videos on what to expect from an in-person exam room and other guides. It also sets out what to do if your exam attempt is affected, and how to access help during your exams.
General queries can also be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
