Before you begin
The only prerequisite for this course is a knowledge of Microsoft Windows, however a basic working knowledge of MS Teams would be beneficial. This can be gained from the 'Smarter Meetings and Collaboration with Teams' course.
- Delivery Method: Tutor led, over Teams, with a recording of the session to refer back to
- Course Duration: 1.5 hours maximum
What you will learn
Microsoft Teams is an application already in use in the University of Bath for collaborative working, remote meetings/conference calls and communication. This course looks at using this application to arrange, deliver and record remote teaching sessions. You will learn how to:
- Create a teaching session and invite students to it
- Create breakout groups
- Use the Chat bar as a register and Q&A facility
- Share your screen
- Record the session and access the recording afterwards
- Use the 'Together' view (when released by Microsoft)
- Use the Teams technology for ice breakers/interactive exercises

To book your place:
- Log into Employee Self Service
- Select Learning & Training along the top
- Search Learning Activities for Teams
- Select the date you wish to book
- Complete any other details, as you wish
- Select Save
