Develop your academic writing

This course is for:

  • all taught masters students who use English as a first or second language

You will learn how to understand assignment tasks, plan and structure your written work, make your writing flow, use and reference sources accurately and write in an appropriate academic style.

You will have the opportunity to discuss and practise writing in the classroom with individual guidance on developing the academic writing skills you need for your assignments at postgraduate level.

You will get tutor and peer support in these sessions and they will help you to understand your academic writing needs at university.

It will run on Wednesday evenings in weeks 20-27 and 30-31.
