Dr. Anita McGrogan, Department of Pharmacy and Pharmacology - Anita will discuss the Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CRPD) and how it can be applied.
Professor Richie Gill, Department of Mechanical Engineering - Richie will talk about the data agreement he has set up with the Royal United Hospital (RUH) that provides access to their Health Episode Statistics (HES) and how this can be applied to research.
Dr Eleonora Fichera, Department of Economics - Eleonora will discuss the Direct Data Agreement she has set up with NHS digital which provides access to HES data, and how this could be used for social science research.
The meeting will be chaired by Professor Fiona Gillison, Department for Health.
