Our guest speaker, 2016 MSc Management alumna, ocean rower and Accenture consultant, Florence Ward will share her story of possibilities. A former BUBC rower, she embarked on a world record breaking row across the Atlantic Ocean during the height of the pandemic in December 2020, raising over £15k for charity. Since the row, she has switched up her career from data and analytics at Publicis to consulting at Accenture.
The Dean's Alumni Award for Entrepreneurship & Innovation
Professor Steve Brammer will announce the winner of The Dean's Alumni Award for Entrepreneurship & Innovation. This is a Bath Link prize open to School of Management MSc and MBA alumni that completed their study at Bath (2016 - 2022) and have demonstrated significant steps in entrepreneurship / innovation post-graduation, either through launching their own start-up, or through innovative thinking. We want to celebrate your continued achievements.
Prize
The prize-winner will receive two hours consultative support with Professor Dimo Dimov, accomplished scholar, teacher and advisor, with vast international experience and at the forefront of entrepreneurial thinking. In addition, they are invited to EntreConf an online conference on 30 June 2022 for entrepreneurs and advisors where you can gain profile, peer group recognition, build relationship opportunities (partners, mentors, investors), inspiration and contacts. Finally, the winner is invited to the Entreconf autumn dinner (date to be determined).
For the chance to win this prestigious award tell us about your achievements. In no more than 300 words outline what you have succeeded in so far and your continued vision. You may wish to include some of the following content in your submission:
- a brief summary of your enterprise including its main mission and objectives
- content on your product/s or service/s and how they meet demands or needs
- an overview of the development and success of your enterprise since conception
- reflection on some of the challenges that you have faced on your journey and how you have overcome them
- consideration of the future development and growth of your enterprise
