The Careers Centre is looking for talented student artists to re‑imagine our reception area with an inspiring mural that will welcome visitors and serve as the visual heart of our space for years to come.

This competition offers you a unique opportunity to gain real‑world design experience, enhance your portfolio with a major university installation, and create something meaningful that will inspire fellow students as they embark on their career journeys.

The competition

We're seeking a design that captures the spirit of possibility, growth and life‑long success that defines the university experience. Your mural will be the first thing visitors see when they enter our Careers Centre—a visual welcome that sets the tone for the guidance and opportunities within.

This event gives you an opportunity to see the space and find out more about what we're looking for. No need to book, just drop-in to the Careers Centre.

You'll be able to see the wall location in person, understand how it interacts with the reception area, and ask us any questions you've got. If you're studying remotely or are on placement don't worry—just let us know by email via careers@bath.ac.uk and we can arrange a Teams meeting with you instead.
