Jean Boulton, lead author of Embracing Complexity, will introduce her recent work, building on a research fellowship last year at the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Studies, which both seeks to reframe complexity theory and systematise the implications for theories of change.

Speaker profile

Dr Jean Boulton is a Visiting Senior Research Fellow with the Department of Social and Policy Sciences and a Visiting Fellow with the University of Cranfield. Her key interest is in the implications of ‘embracing complexity’ for how we work and live in a complex world. Jean teaches widely while undertaking consultancy assignments informed by this topic.
