Educational development and resilience building are two major themes on educational policymakers', scholars', and school practitioners' agenda. This joint research workshop aims to enhance the mutual understanding and research collaboration led by UK universities, University of Bath and Durham University with Hong Kong's Lingnan University.

Other invited institutions are warmly welcome to join the research network.

This one-day research workshop comprises two sessions. The morning session entails four presentations from the delegations introducing:

  • ongoing and future research projects
  • identifying research
  • policy questions
  • any forthcoming funding opportunities

We will then identify 3 or 4 projects for further development. The afternoon session consists of 3 or 4 project-based workshops where we begin to develop the ideas towards concrete bidding plans. Participants can join the workshops that match their research interests and start discussion about composing research proposals and funding bids.
