We are bringing together researchers from the University along with local stakeholders and organisations to explore Digital Inclusion and what this means for the older people in our community. The workshop will be a mixture of short talks and group discussions, with a particular focus on the following themes: (1) Social connections and loneliness, (2) enabling use of healthcare apps (e.g. booking appointments, doing online consultations, ordering repeat prescriptions etc.) and (3) Online harm & data security.
The workshop is being run in partnership between the Healthy Later Living network at the University of Bath and Age UK (Bath and NE Somerset).

About the Healthy Later Living Network
We are a multidisciplinary research network which brings together leading academics and stakeholders to support the UK government's Grand Challenge of an Ageing Society. We are working with business, charities, care providers, research funders, and the community to support generations to remain active, productive, independent, and socially connected for as long as possible.
