A Researcher in the Department of Chemical Engineering who attended a previous workshop said:

This workshop gave me very great ideas about the opportunities for entrepreneurship in UK. I’ve learnt how to set up a start-up, from registration to share management and legal conflictions. I’ve learnt about the most common types of companies and pros and cons with each one of them. I also gained skills about how to negotiate with different people and how to represent my ideas in the best way.

The workshops are facilitated by Dr Ben Miles and Dr Maddy Nichols at Spin Up Science, with support from Research and Innovation Services (RIS) at the University of Bath.

The Programme is funded by the UKRI-EPSRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) and EPSRC funding to the Doctoral College at the University of Bath.
