A Researcher in the Department of Chemical Engineering who attended a previous workshop said:
This workshop gave me very great ideas about the opportunities for entrepreneurship in UK. I’ve learnt how to set up a start-up, from registration to share management and legal conflictions. I’ve learnt about the most common types of companies and pros and cons with each one of them. I also gained skills about how to negotiate with different people and how to represent my ideas in the best way.
The Programme is funded by the UKRI-EPSRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) and EPSRC funding to the Doctoral College at the University of Bath.
Enterprising workshop series
This workshop is the first in the programme of 3 workshops designed to develop entrepreneurial skills and business acumen across a broad range of disciplines and build a cohort of future mentors across the University.
