12:45 - 13:00 ‘An Introduction to Conference Interpreting’ - Louise Jarvis, freelance conference interpreter and lecturer & Sally McDonald, staff interpreter at the European Commission
13:00 - 13:20 Q&A session
13:20 - 13:50 Break (refreshments provided)

Session two

Time Programme
13:50 - 14:35 Alumni panel
14:35 - 15:00 Summary Q&A and break-out discussions with alumni, guest speakers, and teachers
15:00 - 15:30 Tour of interpreting labs with current students, including a talk about the MA programmes at Bath and funding opportunities (including scholarships and placement bursaries)
15:30 - 16:00 Brief interpreting taster session
16:00 - 16:30 Lecturers will be available to take informal questions
