The conference will be held in Bath, United Kingdom June 5 – June 11 2023, with the initial days set aside for a writing camp and the Doctoral Consortium. More details on these will follow separately.
The conference welcome reception takes place Thursday June 8 2023, with the conference proper Friday June 9 – Sunday June 11 2023.
In order to effectively put the conference programme together we therefore ask that all authors make themselves available to present their work all day Friday June 9, the morning of Saturday June 10 and the morning of Sunday June 11.
The conference itself will take in the new School of Management building at the University of Bath campus. There will be an optional excursion in the afternoon on Saturday June 10 before the Second Annual John Mahon Celebratory Banquet on Saturday night. We have negotiated discounted rates at the Hilton Hotel, which is a central hotel that has recently gone through a complete refurbishment. Details of rates and when to book will be made available shortly, along with registration and conference fees.
Getting to IABS 2023
The nearest train station is Bath Spa. The nearest airport is Bristol Airport. Regular buses run from Bristol airport to the city of Bath.
For some international travel, you may need to fly into London Heathrow or London Gatwick. You can get directly from the airport to the centre of London by using the Heathrow Express or the Gatwick Express. From there, you should get a train from London Paddington to Bath Spa.
Once you have arrived in Bath the easiest way to get to the University campus is using the bus service. View information on the buses including timetables. There is a bus stop two minutes from the Hilton hotel with direct routes to the University.

Accommodation
IABS have negotiated discounted rates at the DoubleTree by Hilton in the city centre. Information on this will be sent out when you register for the conference.
There are many other accommodation options in Bath city centre which can be found on popular accommodation sites such as booking.com or airbnb.com.
Unfortunately there is no accommodation available on campus during the conference.
